Dwarf Puffer Fish Food

Some of the live food that you can feed your puffers are crayfish snails shrimps crabs crickets earthworms blackworms bloodworms etc.

The occasional algae wafer could also be added but they may not be eaten. These hardcore carnivores are best fed on a diet of frozen foods like frozen bloodworms and brine shrimp and live foods like little pest snails or blackworms. This puffer is a beneficial member to any fresh to brackish aquarium as they will feed on small snails mosquitos live bearer frye dragonfly larvae and other aquatic bugs. When feeding your puffers it is best to keep watch as much as possible.

They sometimes have spines or burrs on their skin but are most remarkable for their ability to double or triple in size by taking in air or water rapidly.
